Fun and Interactive courseExpect a fun and interactive course and to learn a lot of Latin. Dr. Karen is the best Latin teacher I’ve ever had; I love going to her class. The Blookets and the quizlets are also a great way to build memory. Dr. Karen really cares about us and wants us to have fun during class and she is generous with her time.

A great turning pointMy son was afforded the opportunity to work with Dr. Wieland individually with the Wilson Reading program. This structured, systematic, sequential, multisensory phonics approach provided him with many opportunities to increase his word recognition abilities. This was a great turning point for him and the results were amazing. In no time he was reading novels by Ray Bradbury and American short fiction. We went from this teachers telling us he might never read at grade level to their being impressed with his independent reading abilities. My son does better in all aspects of his school work for the simple reason that he can read the directions on tests as well as the material on the test itself. My husband and I are amazed at his increased fluency when we listen to him read and we are so proud to hear him have discussions with adults about The Martian Chronicles, Fahrenheit 451, and other books he has read. My 7th grade son took this class. I was not home most of the time so my review is from him. He really enjoyed this class. It was not too boring and he enjoyed the teacher. The teacher sometimes went over class time which as a mom I was happy to have her finish the lesson if kids presentations took a little long. My son has taken several classes through Outschool, but this is the only class that he and another classmate got together (virtually) to work on the homework together. Not because it was too hard, just because, and I thought it was great that they wanted to do this own their own. I would sign him up for another class with this teacher. Rating 5/5

A wonderful series of classes. An opportunity not to be missed, to study with Dr. Wieland. I wish I was offered classes like these when I was a child. My daughter is doing the entire series, and it has been fantastic, English decoded. Dr. Wieland’s course is immersive and compelling, my daughter loved every single session. My daughter might not have had the benefit of etymology until college/university, but here it is, it is suitable for children and leaves them with deep understanding and literacy skills for life. I cannot recommend Dr. Wieland’s courses highly enough. Rating 5/5

If you are fortunate enough to have Karen as a teacher, count yourself as one of the lucky ones. I have been actively pursuing and succeeding in a professional entertainment career for the better of my life and have had many MANY amazing teachers and I count her as one of those amazing teachers and I don’t just mean in voice. Not ONLY does she have the expertise of the voice and how to overcome your personal, unique vocal issues, but her caring teaching style and way of giving you the right information needed at the right time in the right moments make her a great choice for an amazing experience.
