My son was...so motivated to work that I didn't have to remind him

My 11-yr old son is taking three online classes and this [Vocabulary Building with Latin and Greek Roots and Affixes, Level 1] was his favorite. He enjoyed preparing a slide each week [related to a chosen Latin or Greek root] to share with his class. I appreciated that he had a little assignment, but was so motivated to work on it that I didn’t have to remind him. He said that everyone was engaged and participated in the discussions. He is signed up for level 2 and says he wants to complete all four levels available.

A wonderful course. Excellent in all aspects. My daughter loved it, the children are offered superb opportunities for participation and for their own research. Invaluable. The children are so lucky to have access to this kind of etymological tuition and insight early in life. Very highly recommended. A whole new perspective on the English language for my daughter, adults around her remark on her vocabulary. Wish I had this offered to me, when I was nine years old. This class is entertaining and very informative. Note to parents, you get the best value if you do the homework with your kids as one class builds on the next. My kids as well as I enjoyed Dr.Karen’s class and teaching style. Overall rating: 10 Content: 5 Presentation: 5 Logistics: 5 Value: 5

My son thoroughly enjoyed his experience with Dr. Wieland’s class. Learning Latin and Greek roots using Google docs gave him the sense of teamwork with his fellow students. The fun atmosphere created by the instructor and students was a great benefit to remembering what had been taught during class. Rating 5/5

A wonderful series of classes. An opportunity not to be missed, to study with Dr. Wieland. I wish I was offered classes like these when I was a child. My daughter is doing the entire series, and it has been fantastic, English decoded. Dr. Wieland’s course is immersive and compelling, my daughter loved every single session. My daughter might not have had the benefit of etymology until college/university, but here it is, it is suitable for children and leaves them with deep understanding and literacy skills for life. I cannot recommend Dr. Wieland’s courses highly enough. Rating 5/5
