My 10 yo is super interested in biology and herpetology so this course was great to support his understanding of all the scientific literature he reads. Dr. Wieland is very interactive with the students and while my learner drags his feet to class, he always comes out mentioning how much he enjoyed the lesson. Always Provides Positive FeedbackOur 9 year old opted to take her reading further & Dr Karen came highly recommended. It can be hard to gauge a child’s progress but if you measured against the tangibles of enjoyment & self-directed readiness to do homework, then Dr Karen’s lessons most definitely get 5 stars from us both. For us, connection is key to growing learning. Dr Karen naturally asked about interests & connected, maintaining interest & focus. Dr Karen’s managed to always find a sincere way to provide positive feedback too. We’d definitely recommend Dr Karen’s word study lessons.

A wonderful series of classes. An opportunity not to be missed, to study with Dr. Wieland. I wish I was offered classes like these when I was a child. My daughter is doing the entire series, and it has been fantastic, English decoded. Dr. Wieland’s course is immersive and compelling, my daughter loved every single session. My daughter might not have had the benefit of etymology until college/university, but here it is, it is suitable for children and leaves them with deep understanding and literacy skills for life. I cannot recommend Dr. Wieland’s courses highly enough. Rating 5/5

Fun and Interactive courseExpect a fun and interactive course and to learn a lot of Latin. Dr. Karen is the best Latin teacher I’ve ever had; I love going to her class. The Blookets and the quizlets are also a great way to build memory. Dr. Karen really cares about us and wants us to have fun during class and she is generous with her time.
