My 7th grade son took this class. I was not home most of the time so my review is from him. He really enjoyed this class. It was not too boring and he enjoyed the teacher. The teacher sometimes went over class time which as a mom I was happy to have her finish the lesson if kids presentations took a little long. My son has taken several classes through Outschool, but this is the only class that he and another classmate got together (virtually) to work on the homework together. Not because it was too hard, just because, and I thought it was great that they wanted to do this own their own. I would sign him up for another class with this teacher. Rating 5/5

BEST EDU PROF I'VE HAD AT ANY INSTITUTIONDr. Wieland is by far the best prof I’ve had at Bona and the best Edu prof I’ve [had] at any institution. Her classes are demanding and worthwhile. I learned a lot. Assignments are not easy but will help students understand the course objectives. She is very willing to help students in anyway: office hours, study help, Skyping, even independent study courses.

You taught me how to read and write the way my brain works.I would like to thank you for all the help you have given me and the time you took out of your day to help me get to where I am now. From Latin to French to Greek to old Germanic roots, you taught me how to read and write the way my brain works. Thank you for being the best teacher I ever had and will ever have and being there for times of struggle when I wish I were writing on paper with a pencil so I could crumple it up. I can now use the techniques you invested in me to improve my knowledge of the most challenging and sometimes confusing English language.
